Mark Kevin Allen's Personal Website

Welcome to my personal page.  I am Mark Kevin Allen.  I know, I know, I have 3 first names!  I have heard that so many times...lol  This site contains a little about me, what is important to me and even some philosophies and opinions.  On this site you will find info about Notre Dame, Family, Native Americans, my love of animals and horror movies.  Make sure you check out all of my pages.  They are linked to the left of this and on all pages.  I will be adding to this frequently.  For example, the pictures that you see on the various pages are not just there by themselves.  I will be writing my opinions around them.  So, if you see a picture and there isn't an opinion written on it yet, keep checking back, there will be!!

I have also added a message board.  I hope you will share your opinions.  Feel free to comment on anything from this site or on a topic of your choosing.  I welcome all thoughtful opinions.  The link to the board is: http://pub3.bravenet.com/forum/show.php?usernum=229721468&cpv=1

I hope you enjoy the site.

Huge News, Part 2: Finally - It Happened!

It finally happened - at age 47, if you can believe it.  I am getting married.  I will be getting married on August the 15th, in Las Vegas.  The wedding will be broadcast.  Once we know the link for it, I will post it here for anyone who wants to view it.  The wedding will be broadcast about 1/2-1 hour after the ceremony.

I will be getting married to the beautiful, Diane Cassady.  Diane went to high school with me.  I had a crush on her from afar.  She ran track and was also a cadet.  Cadets are the performers at halftime of football and basketball games.  Of course, that means she has gorgeous legs!

Diane won the "Knight Award" for girl's track in 1978.  She graduated seventh in a class of 398.  So, she is smart as well as gorgeous.  I am nominating her for the Hall of Fame, which she also deserves.

Stay tuned for more on this subject as well as another page on the site, soon.

Huge News!

I received a phone call a while back. The call was from my high school's athletic director. He was calling to inform me that I am going to be inducted into my high school's Hall of Fame! Needless to say, I am very proud, nervous and excited. The induction is on May 6, 2004. I will be inducted along with 3 others (Todd Bowling, Renita Heideman and Heather Sauerbeck). The guest speaker will be University of Cincinnati basketball coach Bob Huggins.

I want to thank my friend from high school, Cindy Paugh for nominating me. I want to thank the Hall of Fame committee for voting me in. I want to thank the athletic director, Mr Craig.

I also want to thank my mom for taking me to baseball practice when I was 10 years old. It was my first year of playing baseball on a team. I want to thank my dad for enduring injuries from my pitching.

I also owe a lot to my high school team. Every one of those players (Who I will list later) are important to why I am going into the Hall of Fame. We were the first to win a championship for our high school back in Cincinnati. We also won a district tournament championship. I was very proud to see those banners hanging up in the gym when I visited a couple summers ago.
